We wanted to bring that "lo-fi" warmth back to the world of AI. No sterile white screens. No complex dashboards.
I spent countless hours trying to make other tools work, and realized I spent 90% of my time on setup rather than roleplaying. I built AubergeRP because I wanted something that just works. A place where the focus is back on the dialogue and the art, not the config file.
One honest note: AubergeRP is built for a trusted network — your machine, your LAN, your VPN. The admin panel has its own password, but the chat itself has no user login yet, so put it behind a reverse proxy before exposing it to the open internet.
